I have 3 PCs, a media server and a WHS so I was looking for the 3 user version when I saw this. The instructions are quite intimidating as written, but implementation is quite easy and intuitive. The remote administration (avg_rad) piece goes on the server and the end PC piece (avg_ipw) goes on the PC. It includes both 32bit and 64bit versions so choose the right one. From the remote admin desktop you can, for each PC, view status, start scans, restart or shutdown PC, view logs and much more A/V related stuff. There's a way to have the PCs get updates from the local server rather than direct from AVG, but that's in the intimidating part of the manual so... I've not done that. So far I see no reason that it shouldn't work stand-alone on 7 PCs without the server piece, but I don't know. I offer no comments on the technical goodness except that it seems to protect me and I've used various paid and free versions of AVG for many years and have felt well protected. Some complain...
